state...while unlv suffered road defeats at ucla and central michigian. it's that central michigan game last saturday that still has the rebels teed off and hungry to turn the tide after a less than stellar showing. on the rebzone this week head coach tony sanchez says unlv has to correct mistakes and focus on what they do before anything else. tony sanchez: it's ourselves and the things we can control and if we can do that we feel like we've got a great opportunity. they're gonna come in fired up though. they're struggling right now, kind of like we are after these last two weeks. they're circirling this as an opportunity just like we are so we've got to be laser focused and be sharp in all three phases. idaho could be just what the doctor ordered - they have struggled offensively and their defense has given up a lot of points. expect them to try and run the football and shorten the game. this also represents a
and former unlv assistant kris cinkovich who returns as the idaho offensive coordinator. kris cinkovich/idaho offensive coordinator: it's not about us going back there and stuff. it's a really important game for us and for us to get our offense operating as it needs to and should. that'll be the focus of this trip and it will be strange going back but i'm anxious for saturday at 6:00. unlv has the skill and size advantage at almost every position and wants to make a statement that they will be a team to contend with in the mountain west. expect them to send that message loud and clear. if you can't make it out to the game - it's actually going to be broadcast live on twitter using some new technology...that' s a first for unlv. you can find it on the twitter handle "at unlv athletics". but of course the rebels would rather have you out here - kick off is set for 6 o'clock and unlv is a 15 point favorite. live at sam boyd, kevin bolinger, fox 5 news, local las

people coming and going to and from the music festival all day and those people who paid hundreds of dollars to get in while they were really ready to start the party: this is the festivals fourth year. and they were expecting more people than ever 100,000 people are expected to be going in and out of those gates throughout the weekend. the music food and art festival tracks people from all over the country. but for some who call downtown las vegas home... life and traffic can get pretty ugly if you don't have tickets to the beautiful festival. "" i reached out to the community trailer and they really don't care they told me to take an uber foot house in uber going to get to me i can't fly it's not a helicopter so it's like i support the life is beautiful but they should've gotten more downtown involved" " the festival caused closures from carson to mesquite and fremont to 11th. there are some shuttles available for those who live downtown that need to get around..

arrest report detailed what officers thought was a violent night at his southern hills home with his then girlfriend kelly ryan... throwing his body on her and covering her mouth with his hand. but a jury agreed with burt's attorney's argument that there was never any evidence of a physical confrontation.. "notwithstanding her allegation that she was choked, dragged down the hallway from the garage, thrown down on the couch and she was wearing a necklace at the time, there was no visible injury on her jaw, no visible injury on her neck, or anywhere of the sort. according to warren geller.. the couple had argued over a home downpayment and with the relationship ending, the only way ryan could recoup her money was to show burt was no longer working. "she admitted on cross examination that she saw an attorney and the attorney's advice was that if jimmy were terminated, and metro generated a letter to that effect, it would be helpful in her recouping that money. burt's legal troubles may be over, but that doesn't mean the department will welcome him back anytime soon. metro fired burt after similar allegations from
dropped. his union got his job back then, and it'll be up to them to do it a second time. geller says he'll be there to assist and believes his client deserves another chance. "would you feel comfortable with him pulling over a family member? yes, i would because i kn ow jimmy very well, ((14.27.40)) he's got loyal friends, he has people that love him and trust him, you don't build those kind of friendships and loyalties without having something good in your character and he does. are witnesses who told ryan about those 2011 allegations and that's how she came up with her own narrative. we reached out to ryan several times and to the d-a's office but have not heard back. the family of a man shot and killed by police in north carolina... have released cell phone video of the moments leading up to the shooting. 80s. closed captioning will resume shortly viewers are still speaking out about the youth football team taking a knee during the national anthem. no one is calling in supporting the players making their own choice...but rather saying influence comes heavily from coaches and parents. like crystal she says.... at work, i'm still showing 5 year- olds that there aren't numbers when you write your name. as i watched all those small children take a knee on the field, i really missed being on the base with my military kids. i was always impressed with how the children who sacrificed the most for this country were so quick to stand with respect and honor it. i understand how troubled this nation is, but i don't think using 5-6 year-old kids as propaganda is the way. and from bruce... i have two solutions for the player's disrespect of the national anthem and flag... 1. my favorite, is play the anthem before the players come
or 2. just do not play the anthem at all. we have callers!!!! they should be taught pride in their country. pride. pride. not disgust. not embarrassment. this country, stands, for freedom, and always has. it is time, that this garbage, stops. the divisiveness is happening in this country, is now being put into six year olds heads. six year olds! are you kidding me? you're taking 5 and 6-year-old little boys for the football, to bend down on their knees? what are you, you brainwashing these kids just like they brainwash them over in syria? and you people talk about the way trump talks? what's wrong with you people? and speaking of the donald.... the naked trump statue made it's way to life is beautiful... but it wasn't up for long before vandals got to it. it's the only one of the five
the country to be vandalized. the others were either stolen or removed. and from john. lib is supposed to be a place of positivity and love, not ridicule and shame. this is an embarrassment to say the least. imagine if they had a horrible naked hillary clinton? i don't care what you think of donald trump... these people have absolutely no class! here's phyllis. why is it ok to be exposing such trash in our wonderful city? it makes me sick! and to all the creeps out there that thinks it's ok.... then "ginger" should make one of hillary. i want to see how long that would last. just stop! voicemails!!! he's still a presidential candidate regardless of anyone's personal opinion about him, and i think that it is humiliating, it's degrading and it's embarrassing to have a statue of a naked donald trump downtown. i mean come on guys let's get it together. actually, that artist who created donald trump statues, he did donald trump a huge favor. now all the fat men, all the fat white men
